Position: Sr. Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Hanover, MD

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the electrical design of power distribution equipment and mentor junior engineers. This role will focus on complex electrical systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Lead electrical design projects for low-voltage equipment

-          Develop electrical systems and control schemes

-          Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, and other relevant standards

-          Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation

-          Collaborate with customers and internal teams

-          Drive continuous improvement in design processes

Requirements:

-          Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

-          8+ years of experience in power distribution equipment design

-          Strong knowledge of NEC, UL, and NEMA standards

-          Experience with power system analysis software

-          Team leadership experience

-          Excellent project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

-          AutoCAD Electrical experience

-          Custom engineering experience

-          Knowledge of protection and control systems
