Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 50 global law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its expanding Private Wealth Services Practice in one of their South Florida offices. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated estate planning, business succession, tax, and transactional matters for high-net-worth individuals and family-owned businesses.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- LL.M. in Taxation
- Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
- 3-6 years of substantive experience with private wealth, estate planning, and business succession matters
- Experience advising closely held businesses on corporate, LLC, partnership, and estate planning
- Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple client matters simultaneously
- Collaborative and committed to providing exceptional client service
Key Responsibilities
- Advise high-net-worth individuals and family-owned businesses on estate, tax, and succession planning
- Draft, review, and negotiate estate planning documents, trusts, and business succession agreements
- Provide guidance on corporate, LLC, and partnership planning and transactions
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex client matters
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations to clients
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax and estate planning laws and regulations
- Deliver high-quality, accurate, and timely work product across multiple client engagements

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Annual base salary is expected to range from $250,000-$370,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
