Job Title: Hematopathologist

About the Opportunity

A community hospital–based pathology practice in East Texas is seeking a Board-Certified Hematopathologist to join a collegial, physician-led group serving a large regional healthcare system. This position offers a diverse mix of hematopathology and solid tumor cases, along with close collaboration with oncology specialists.

Both experienced pathologists and fellows are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic interpretation in hematopathology and related subspecialties
• Collaborate closely with oncologists, clinicians, and pathology colleagues
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions as appropriate
• Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support a team-based, patient-centered approach to pathology services

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or AP/CP
• Fellowship training or subspecialty expertise in Hematopathology
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Texas
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
