Our client is a leading manufacturer of racking systems, with locations in Long Valley, NJ., Waterloo, NY., Lamar, SC., Dyersburg, TN., Idaho Falls, ID (and Ontario Canada) This role, EHS Coordinator, can be based out of any of these locations. 

They are looking for an individual that thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment. A Confident self-starter who has a proven track record of getting things done. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of regulatory compliance for facility air permitting including Title V, hazardous wastes management, SPCC and stormwater management, TRI and Tier II reporting. In addition, this position will oversee accident/incident investigation to include root cause analysis and corrective action implementation across all North American facilities.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

Permit Management

  • Oversee and maintain Title V permits
  • Manage air permits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Supervise hazardous waste management in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
 

Reporting and Compliance

  • Coordinate and submit TRI (Toxic Release Inventory) and Tier II reports
  • Oversee Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans.
  • Manage stormwater compliance programs.
 

Safety and Incident Management

  • Conduct and document accident/incident investigations
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs
 

Training and Development

  • Provide OSHA and EPA training to ensure compliance and enhance safety awareness
 

Site Coordination

  • Ensure EHS Compliance across six sites in the U.S. and Canada
  • Collaborate with site managers to implement and maintain EHS policies and procedures
  • Other EHS duties as assigned
 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS management
  • Knowledge of Title V permits, air permits, hazardous waste management, and environmental reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Proven experience in accident/incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% to various sites as needed
  • Able to travel internationally (Canada)
