Large, high-volume Tier 1 automotive facility in eastern TN has immediate opening for a Plant Manager. This facility is part of an international corporation. The Plant Manager will ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets are met.

The plant has a strong culture of Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing. The Plant Manager must have good communication skills and interact well at all levels of the organization. Prefer candidates who have experience working with Japanese automotive customers and / or suppliers.

There is a solid customer base with sales and production exceeding the forecast. This facility ships directly to customers and also supplies sister locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations. The Plant Manager will have P&L responsibility
• Maintain clean and safe workplace
• Analyze production costs to establish areas for improvements

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or relevant technical field
• 5+ years of Plant Management experience, ideally in high-volume manufacturing
• A background in Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing is a MUST.
