Job description:
This is a Series B AI platform that helps businesses win and deliver government contracts. The platform is a secure, workflow-driven system covering the full contracting lifecycle from opportunity discovery and capture through proposal execution, award, and post-award operations. In 2025 alone, customers won more than $5B in government contracts through the platform. The company has raised $42M to scale nationwide.
This is a hunter role. You will own the full sales cycle for mid-market government contractors, building relationships with procurement, capture, and operations decision-makers who need the platform to win and manage contracts at scale. Deal values typically range from $55K to $130K. You are not just closing deals you are helping customers succeed post-close and turning their wins into repeatable playbooks.
What You'll Own:
- Run full-cycle sales for mid-market government contractors, from outbound prospecting through close
- Conduct discovery calls and product demos tailored to each prospect's contracting workflow
- Build relationships with procurement, capture, and operations leaders at mid-market firms
- Meet monthly quota of $150K ARR with accelerated commission on overages
- Partner with the engagement team to ensure smooth onboarding and customer success post-close
- Share customer feedback with product and engineering teams to inform roadmap decisions
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a track record of closing deals in the $50K$150K range
- Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise customers with longer sales cycles (60+ days)
- Government contracting experience or deep SaaS sales background with the ability to learn government workflow
- Demonstrated hunting instinct comfortable with outbound prospecting and building your own pipeline
- Based in the Washington, D.C. area and willing to be in-person 4 days per week at the Arlington office
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States no visa sponsorship available
