As a leading Heavy Civil Contractor, our client is seeking qualified applicants for a Project Manager position within our Heavy & Highway division.
The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction highway and bridge projects from development to completion.
Constructability input and/or actual estimating of projects.
Oversight and responsibility for setup, scheduling, executing and closing out assigned construction projects.
Oversee job and resource scheduling through coordination with the project superintendent/general superintendents, equipment operations, and others within HRI as required.
Properly delegate and assign task to the appropriate personnel.
Coordinates, organizes, and directs activities of the construction crew.
Monitors all steps of the operation to ensure Standard Quality and Operating Practices and guidelines are being followed.
Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
Devise and implement cost saving strategies
Perform administrative activities such as scheduling crews, completing reports, conducting safety conversations, and complying other reporting as necessary.
Provide financial leadership for the project and maximize its profitability.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree.
Minimum of 8 years of work experience in heavy highway construction.
Experience in P6 or other CPM scheduling software.
Must have a current and valid driver’s licenses
Adhere to safety procedures/guidelines at all times
Punctuality, consistent attendance and self-direction for the success of the operations
Proficient with Excell, Word, and Outlook.
