Investment Operations - Senior Associate or VP (Investment firm)

Requires: 5-7 years of reconciliation experience required and strong knowledge of Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX), Axys, Tamarac or Addepar; investment transaction knowledge. Tech-savvy troubleshooter. Operations experience with ultra-high net worth clients and/or institutional clients.

Our client is an investment firm that provides investment advice and management for select families, foundations, and endowments, managing over $6 billion in assets. The firm is currently seeking a VP, Operations Associate, preferably with Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) experience. The position will serve as an overall quality control, risk and maintenance analyst who will also assist with client reporting requirements.

Responsibilities of the Investment Operations – Senior Associate or VP:
· Analyze and correct data (pricing, transaction review and reconciliation of investment accounts)
· Reconcile and manage reporting of alternative investments
· Ensure accurate performance reporting across all client investments
· Monitor client accounts for any unusual trading or cash transactions
· Set up and review various control-related reports on a daily, weekly, monthly basis and manage procedures as needed
· Manage account setup, maintain group rules, update portfolio client information, maintain reporting packager to deliver monthly/quarterly/semi-annual reports
· Manage and ensure cost basis for client investments is accurately reported
· Serve as a liaison with Advent and other vendors to implement workflow and control architecture
· Produce client review materials and other internal analytics and risk reports
· Various operational projects as needed

Qualifications of the Investment Operations – Senior Associate or VP:
· 5-7 years of reconciliation experience with UHNW or institutional clients required (downloading custodian files, processing, troubleshooting, maintaining cost basis, running client reports)
· Detailed understanding of transactions for equity, fixed income, derivatives and alternative investments and client reporting requirements
· Strong knowledge of Advent APX, Axys, Tamarac, or Addepar
· Experience working with UHNW investments and estate structures is strongly preferred
· Strong technical background; tech-savvy with ability to manage frequent tech projects; understands how coding works, connectivity, SQL database management
· Experience working with and managing vendors of back-office services
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong team player
· High degree of individual initiative/EQ with a sense of urgency
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
· Bachelor’s degree
