Description:
Occupational therapist helps patient(s) accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic activities by administering manual physical exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities as well as in applying assistive and supportive quality care. OT will assess and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation by physician(s). OT will document patient care services by charting in patient and department records in compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. - Follow Up for as the patient continues to meet eligibility requirements for home health services Medicare does not stipulate a limit on how many episodes are allowed for any home health benefit including maintenance therapy
Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.

Candidates must possess California state licensure

1 year of home health experience as an occupational therapist
